Physical Education

Passive posture of a new born child is a sign of mental retardation. Every parent burst in joy when they see their child moving around. These movements form the base for every human activity in the world and are a never ending process. For this purpose educationalists of the past have emphasized the importance of “Movement Education” (which is now called Physical Education) in the normal curricular of a school. Formed on this core idea is the ‘Sports Club” which organizes the various activities with regard to physical education. Students are well trained in sports and games especially in athletics. Specially trained physical educational teachers help the students irrespective of their sex to exhibit their potentialities on the field. Every such activity helps each student to live as a healthy and an active member in the society as per the maxim ‘A sound mind in a sound body’.

Extra Curricular Activities

As per the aims of the education, the school strives to develop the overall personality of children through various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Students are encouraged to exhibit their talents in music, drama elocution, debate and other activities like singing by enabling them to participate in the various inter-class and inter-school competitions held both inside and outside the school campus. The various clubs listed below, function in school to organize the activities in a way that suits the intellectual level of the students. Parents are requested to actively participate in making the school as the best among other schools by offering their suggestions. They are requested to make such suggestions in writing and drop them in the ‘Suggestion Box’ in the school.

Co-operation of parents

Parents are requested to see that their children are neatly dressed and that they attend the school regularly and punctually. They are also requested not to take away their wards from the school during the school hours.

Parents should see that their children study lessons regularly and do their homework properly.
